Your Journey to Becoming an Automotive Engineer

Vehicle Dynamics
You’ll cover all the principles of vehicle dynamics, including topics such as handling, suspension systems, braking systems, and traction control. You'll learn how to analyse and optimise vehicle performance for stability, cornering and overall handling characteristics, as well as the crucial powertrain systems such as combustion engines, transmission systems, and more.
Design and Manufacturing
You'll learn about design principles, computer-aided design, prototyping, and manufacturing techniques used in the automotive industry, as well as vehicle safety, crashworthiness and impact analyses.
Materials
The course will provide knowledge of the materials used in automotive construction, learning how to analyse their structural integrity and performance under various loads. You’ll also learn about automotive sensors, actuators and electronic control units.

How Do I Start?
