Your Journey into Mechanical Engineering

Mechanics
At the South Coast Institute of Technology, you’ll study mechanics, learning about forces, stress and deformation to analyse and design mechanical systems.
Technical knowledge
You’ll cover thermal systems and materials science, understanding the properties and behaviours of materials for design and manufacturing. You’ll also explore the design process, manufacturing techniques and industry-standard software, as well as gaining knowledge in robotics principles.
Professional skills
You’ll develop the teamwork, communication, project management and problem solving skills needed to thrive in this industry.

How Do I Start?
