Inspiring STEM 2026 – Schools invites students aged 11–16 to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on, real-world challenges. Students work in small teams on coding tasks, quick-build engineering activities, environmental investigations, and simple experiments. Local STEM employers and National Oceanography Centre specialists guide each group and share insights from their work, showing how STEM skills help tackle climate change, robotics, ocean research, and emerging technologies. The event builds creativity, teamwork, and confidence while sparking curiosity about future STEM studies and careers.
